I ordered some retiring products from Stampin' Up, and the goodies arrived Wednesday. The box included this fantastic dsp, "Bohemian." What better way to catch up on sketches than to pull out a fresh new pack of paper? The card base is blackberry bliss. I used 3 patterns from the dsp; 2 of which were on the same sheet. Made this card very easy! The stamped images and sentiments are all from "Work of Art," using more mustard, bermuda bay, blackberry bliss, and rich razzleberry inks on very vanilla. My scallop circle punch and Sizzix circle die were matched up for the sketch. Finally, two candy dots were added.
Now...the following content is being added on Saturday. I wanted to complete four of the Paper Player sketch challenges using the same basic supplies. I now have them done and photographed, so it's time to post!
The lighting is off on this. My card base is more mustard (I don't have the new delightful dijon). It almost looks like daffodil. Anyway, my scallop trim and circle punches along with candy dots finish this off.
Next, a card using "Work of Art" and "Hello Again" stamps, plus just a bit of mustard grosgrain ribbon.
Finally, a Big Hug card using "Perfect Words." I made 2 of each card, because I have a lot of letters to write! If it rains again tomorrow, perhaps I will pull out a different stack of dsp!
It feels good to stamp AND post again. I hope I can keep this up! Thanks for stopping by!
