Dare to Sketch!
Hello everyone! Work still has been quite busy...so my stamping has been very limited. But, I just had to stamp today... Today is Wednesday, so that means another Sketch Challenge on SCS and a Color Dare. This week's colors are basic gray, cherry cobbler, and marina mist. One of the men on our Board of Directors just earned his PhD...so I decided he needed a card, of course! I'll be calling him Dr. Dave for a while!
The sketch has some nice strong angles...and it was an easy sketch to execute!! I used 2 retired Stampin' Up sets...Tassel Time and Picture This. The cherry cobbler angled piece is embossed with the square lattice impressions folder. I used the mat pack and paper piercer to line up holes for my vintage brads. The grad cap is popped up with dimensionals.
A quick card...I think it's worth duplicating in various school colors. Whatchya think?
Thanks for stopping by...
