Hello...and Happy Hump Day!
I am trying to get back into challenges that I usually follow. Today, I have a card for a recent Color Challenge on SCS, along with the most recent challenge at The Friday Mashup. I am also submitting this for a shot at the Design Team for the Friday Mashup...WooHoo!
I knew I wanted to mash things up...but what surprise element should I use? I had a package of Life Savers by my desk and looked through it. One of the pieces went with last week's color challenge! Here we go!
The color challenge called for crumb cake, calypso coral, and crisp cantaloupe...way out of my comfort zone! I guess that's why thney call these things "challenges!" LOL Any way, using a Life Saver led me to this big stamp from SU's "Text and Texture." I like saying "Life is Good," and I think it is fun for a birthday card, which I did by adding the other sentiment from "On Your Birthday." I made my own pattern paper using the small stamps from "Mixed Bunch." I added some gingham ribbon and punch 5-petal flowers for other details.
If I mail this, the candy will break, so I guess this will be hand delivered!
Thanks for coming by again!
