I am still trying to get back into a regular stamping/blogging routine again. I took a peak at The Paper Players challenge, and realized I had not played along for a while. I really like the color combo LeAnne selected and decided to put something together. I figured this palette would work for a feminine or masculine card. A gentleman from the church choir had surgery recently, so this card is for him.
This is a clean and simple design, which should be easy to duplicate with various sentiments. My card base is sahara sand. The next layer is dry embossed with the Cuttlebug divine swirls folder, then sponged with lost lagoon ink. I added three pieces of thick bakers twine. My image is SU's "Sail Away," stamped in Stazon jet black on very vanilla. I sponged both sahara and lagoon ink around the edges. Since I wanted more of the pistachio incorporated, I used it for the sentiment layer; a simple circle on the corner. The sentiment is from "Delightful Dozen."
Thanks for stopping by...I'm going to keep stamping this afternoon!

I love this, Kim! So much that I may have to case it! What a fabulous masculine get well design!
