I was taking a break from HYCCT cards (very few of which I have posted yet!) to complete the most recent Freshly Made Sketches challenges. I was all caught up n those less than a month ago; I don't want to fall behind again! My goal of finishing the 2015 FMS challenges is still on track! But, as I went along, I also incorporated some HYCCT after all! I made the cards last night, and took pictures after my 2 appointments this morning...here goes!
Here's sketch #208...barely on time to post to the blog link up. I used summer starfruit for the base, along with some starfruit dsp from the "Soho" pack, I added quilted early espresso ribbon. Some "Comfort Cafe" dsp is matted with cajun craze. The sentiment is from "Best Yet" stamped in cajun on very vanilla. I used my tag punch so that it fits the "Tag You're It" HYCCT challenge, edged it with my marker and added some bakers twine. Finally, a couple of cajun craze candy dots finish it off.
FMS #207 is perfect for showing off designer series paper. I received this paper a couple of years ago in a card kit swap. I used some of the paper and images for HYCCT cards, but wanted to use the rest up instead of setting it aside again. #UseMyStash! Unfortunately, I have no idea what the name of the dsp is, but it goes perfectly with this river rock card base. I also have a bit of bordering blue paper and ink, with the sentiment from "Best Yet" on a scallop circle. Some non-SU enamel dots finish it off. I made two of these in almost no time.
And here is FMS #206...I really like the circles. I used three different SU punches, and the mid-sized circle is popped up with dimensions. I used river rock again, plus the dsp from that card kit. The sentiment is from SU's "Whimsical Words" stamped in chocolate chip. I added some early espresso bakers twine for simple embellishment. This HYCCT challenge, "I am a Warrior," had us use strong images or phrases to relay a fighting spirit. I will likely try another card...this card seems too timid! LOL
Thanks for coming by. I hope to upload more cards tonight, and post throughout the week.

I LOVE seeing the cards you create for this challenge, and always think what a cool way to use up DSP too. I will have to go give that challenge a look see once I get back home! Beautiful cards. SO cool that you are also creating for the HYCCT challenges!
