Celebrate In Blue and Silver

When I was creating cards for a Clean and Simple (CAS) challenge on splitcoastsampers, I decided to pull out my neglected brushed silver card stock. Love this stuff! Lots of shimmer with zero effort! I made 2 very similar cards...each use the silver, white organza ribbon, not quite navy ink, and Fabulous Phrases stamp set.

In the first card, I used the Circles Big Shot die to cut out the large circle from Candy Cane Christmas dsp, found in the Holiday Mini. Serene Snowflakes and some rhinestones sitting on a large scallop circle add all the detail I needed.

The second card uses the Tags til Christmas stamp set for the ornament, and the absolutely-gotta-have-itornament punch. Of course, some bling too!

  1. Positively gorgeous! Such an elegance to your card and a beautiful holiday card - a showstopper!

  2. Love the blue and silver together!

  3. I like your stamping! Looks good on the silver cardboard.

  4. Both are just sensational!!!! Perfect cards for the holidays.

  5. Love the clean design and all that fabulous sparkle! I always forget about the silver and gold cardstock, too. I'm lovin' that snowflake on the scalloped punch...and of course, all of the beautiful bling! :)

  6. I love the colors you used. Brushed Silver is one of my favorite cardstocks, and I just love how the first one looks, it is def my fav.

  7. How clean and simple! Love it!
