VSN Meets the ColourQ!

Happy Stamping Saturday!! This weekend is Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) over at splitcoaststampers, and I have had fun making several cards and a big mess in my craft room! It will take a while to get them all uploaded, but this card also fits the week's ColourQ, so I *need* to upload before I go to bed! (My picture is dark, but you get the idea, right?)

One of today's VSN challenges was to make a sympathy card, and the overall theme is about Spring! All of the products used are Stampin' Up! I used chocolate chip for my card base, and added some calypso coral triangles that are embossed with the perfect polka dots and Big Shot. My whisper white layer was embossed with the impressions folder. I then used my blender pen and classic ink pads to color the images with the ColourQ palette. The sentiment is from "Thanks for Caring," and is colored with markers. I added celery flower brads and grosgrain ribbon. I lightly sponged the edges, and popped it up with dimensionals.

I was pleasantly surprised by these colors! Looks like a fresh palette I will need to use again! Thanks for stopping by!
