Hello again! Yep, I am posting twice on the same day...because I want to get my blog challenge cards in on time! This one is my first Mojo Monday card! I have often seen others post mojo cards in their gallery, but I had not yet taken the plunge.
This past week, the ministry received a HUGE financial gift (well, for a non-profit our size!) The family who gave generously has done so before...recently, in fact. So I knew instantly which sentiment to use. This stamp comes from the retired set "Very Versatile." I use this stamp more than anything else in the set! The sentiment is stamped in not quite navy ink onto whisper white, which was cut out in my big shot with the doily sizzlit I ordered from SU just before I ended my time as a demo. I forgot I had it...but it is perfect for this sketch! Under the sentiment is SU's "Stemmed Silhouette" in kiwi kiss. I sponged the doily with baja breeze. The card base is basic gray, and I pulled out the Urban Garden dsp again...it's not to feminine, so it works for a husband/wife duo. Plus I hope to finish off this pack in the next month. (Using up my stash is a big goal for the year!) The other touches include baja breeze card stock, with scallop trim punch detail, and kiwi kiss taffeta ribbon.
This card was fun to make, as I prayed in thanksgiving for the generosity of special friends. Nothing like combining my job with my hobby, right?
Thanks for stopping by again!
